At Fiddler's Grove, we use alternative wood products where available. Our tippers are made mostly from recycled or alternative woods. The lignum vitae we use is recycled from worn ship propeller shaft bearings or is salvaged from shipyard shop waste. Most of the other woods we use are gleaned from the yacht and aircraft interior design trade (we're located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida). The chances are very good that the wood in your Goat Whacker came from the same board that is part some billionaire's megayacht or business jet interior.
